Assistant Cubmaster, Camping Coordinator Role Description
Reserve Scouts BSA campsites; work with the Cubmaster to develop the agenda for the campout; make sure health forms are collected; ensure a safe campout with a Baloo-trained leader in the pack. This is mostly a behind-the-scenes role, working with the Cubmaster and Den leaders to plan a campout, or communicating with campsite staff, but you might be the person who leads a component of a campfire activity.

Committee Chair
The Committee Chair manages the committee of volunteers that leads pack events so that the den leaders can concentrate on managing the activities in their own dens. Most Cub Scout activities and advancement occur in the den meetings, but sometimes a pack activity fulfills an adventure requirement, such as a pack service project in the community or a den presentation at a pack meeting. This is mostly a behind-the-scenes role, working with data and information, communicating with volunteers, and scheduling events. You might be the person who reports some information at a pack meeting.
